The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Verne Ltd. (“Verne”, “we”) for your use of Conpass. By using the website or the service you accept them. If you use Conpass for an organisation, you confirm you can accept these terms on its behalf.
Early access
Conpass is in early access. Features may change, be limited to certain cities, or be unavailable at times while we build. We may end or change early access at any time and will give reasonable notice where we can.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 and use Conpass for professional purposes. Keep your account details accurate and your sign-in credentials and capture tokens secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Acceptable use
You agree to follow our acceptable use policy. In particular, you will not use Conpass to collect personal data about people, to circumvent other services’ protections, or to overload our systems.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you send us: captures, forwarded emails, goals and notes. You give Verne a limited licence to host and process that content only to provide and improve Conpass for you. You confirm you have the right to share it, and that sharing it does not breach anyone else’s terms or confidentiality.
Event information
Event details come from third parties and from automated reading of public pages. They can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Conpass does not organise events, sell tickets or guarantee availability, prices or dates. Always confirm with the organiser before you buy, book or travel.
Scores, true-cost estimates and plans are recommendations based on the information and settings available. They are not financial, travel or legal advice.
Alerts and the clock
We design alerts to arrive in time, but delivery depends on third-party pages, networks and messaging services. We do not guarantee that you will receive any particular alert or obtain any ticket.
Fees
Conpass is free during early access. If we introduce paid plans, we will publish prices and give early-access members at least 30 days’ notice. You will only be charged if you choose a paid plan.
Our intellectual property
Conpass, its software, design, illustrations and brand belong to Verne. You may not copy, resell or reverse engineer the service except where the law allows. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
Third-party services
Some features connect to services you choose, such as Telegram or your calendar app. Their own terms apply to your use of them.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using Conpass and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or if we have to for legal or security reasons, and will tell you why where we lawfully can.
Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, Conpass is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Verne is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or opportunities, including missed events or tickets. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and USD 100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or rights you have as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, and the courts of Dhaka have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law in your country gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will give notice by email or in the product before they take effect. Continuing to use Conpass after that means you accept the updated terms.
